I've been dying to try Chuck's Southern Comforts. We decided to go with the after hours menu. OMG! We ordered the Jambalaya, BBQ nachos, Mozzarella Sticks and mac n cheese. I must say, it's not just Comfort Good, it was a Sedative!
The Jambalaya with chicken was so savory with a baby kick of Hot Spicy goodness.
The BBQ Nachos has me a little confused. Most Nachos are on the side, BUT, with a shovel of my fork, I found my nachos at the very bottom. My first though; these are going to be soggy, but they were Crisp. Dig deep and your nachos grab hold to everything it's buried under(chicken, cheeses, Chile's, avocado, pica de gallo, You won't be disappointed.
The Mac n cheese was thick, rich and creamy. Very flavorful.
My son has the mozzarella sticks but before I could get his review, they were devoured. I take that as a "Yes", they were delicious. I look forward to seeing what they can due when the daytime menu is available. And the catering.
