I was recently looking for a specific handgun and stopped in a Hutchinson gun shop. I was never even acknowledged by the owner. I looked around for about 15 minutes and finally interrupter his and his friends discussion about about the government to ask him about the gun I was looking for. He told me he didn't have it and went back to his discussion without letting me look at what he had in stock. I felt Very uncomfortable and unwelcome in the whole time I was shopping.
I went out to B and J from there and was quickly acknowledged and felt welcome. Bob had the gun I was looking for but I decided I didn't like it. Bob took the time to let me look at the rest of his handguns and I found something that I really liked and paid it on the spot but had to wait for my permit to come back from the local police to actually purchase it and pick it up.
To bad for that other gun shop, I spent over $100 more for then one I decided on than what the one I was looking for cost and when I picked it up I also sow a shotgun I liked and bought that plus ammunition and a holster too plus have since ordered another new shotgun from him.
Bottom line...
Friendly welcoming and comfortable place to do business plus great prices.
I would recommend stopping B and J first.
