When we started considering upgrading our camper, we searched several local dealers but found nothing that truly fit what we were looking in terms of size, amenities and most of all price. We found Thompson Family RV by Google searching campers we thought were right for us. When we first arrived, we were amazed at their selection and the number of units we could walk through. Almost like a kid in a candy store. Our sales rep was AMAZING!!!! When they say no pressure sales we can certainly attest to that. I think we considered 3 or 4 used units that sold before we could make up our minds. We ultimately chose a '17 Crossroads Z-1 that was absolutely perfect. Their staff is very knowledgeable and courteous and will go above and beyond to ensure you know the ins and outs of your coach. Thank you to all the Thompson Family RV staff who made our camper upgrade an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Labor Day weekend was a blast with a lot of compliments on our unit.

My wife and I stopped by as we were staying south of Davenport on the Mississippi. From the time we arrived, we were shown the greatest respect and courtesy one could ever hope for. By the second visit, we had traded our 5th wheel for another one. The sales, technical and financial staffs are wonderful to work with. Everyone is excellent at their jobs. In a few years, we will most likely be back to find that "perfect" RV. We have been to several RV dealerships this year and Thompsons Family RV is head and shoulders above their competition in all facets of your RV experience.

Thanks so much for the positive experience we had with you and the dealership. From the initial contacts through the final signature we were treated well and all our concerns and questions addressed. You all know your job and execute it wit care for the benefit of your customers. We're glad we made the trip for sure! Labor Day weekend is our first trip out and we plan to really enjoy the unit from the queen sized bed to the outdoor kitchen and everything in between. Can't wait to be on the road with it.

Thompson made buying our very first camper so easy and pleasant! Our salesman showed us several different units, all within our price range and without any pressure to spend additional money or stretch our budget. He offered advice, answered all of our questions we had and helped us make a decision on a camper that was best for our needs.

The staff on Delivery Day was top-notch. They went through everything we would need to know in relation to leveling and stabilizing the camper, showed us how the awning worked and explained all of the electrical systems, toilet and slide outs. While we were going through this orientation, the mechanic was install our fifth wheel hitch. They took extra time to show us how to remove the hitch, and went above and beyond figuring out some minor issues we were having with the electrical outlet in our truck.

We purchased a "Starter" camper, and will definitely be going back to Thompson's when it's time for us to upgrade. It was a fantastic experience!

We were very pleased overall with the whole experience. The team at thompsons made you feel at home and gave you all the time you need with questions. Very professional with a huge selection of RV's to choose from!

Thompson RV made the process of buying our first RV very easy. They were very helpful in choosing the right one for us. Todd did a great job helping us order our JAYCO Seismic Wave and Kelly got us a great loan rate. We traveled all over to look at RV's and Thompson Family RV's dealership was the the cleanest and most knowledgable compared to the "mega dealers" and cut rate RV dealers we saw. We purchased our motorhome from Thompson Family RV in Davenport, Iowa,. Everyone was so friendly and very helpful answered all question we had, showed us how everything worked in the motorhome. The salesman were great, Dave in finance got us the best deal and was great to work with him, he answered all my questions. All the staff at Thompson's make you feel very welcome the minute you walk in the door. I would buy another Motorhome from them in the future years. We just purchased our first NEW camper and are very happy we chose Thompson Family RV. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and not pushy at all. We recently bought our first trailer from Thompson Family RV. It was a wonderful buying experience! They have a Great Staff, Customer Service and Sales Department. They have a great dealership with a huge inventory of new or used trailers.

First, I want to say that I do not live in Iowa, just there for work and that we live in our rv parttime to fulltime. We found our new rv at Thompson. We had loan worked out, which included hitch, stackable washer dryer set and taxes. First problem was the dealer shop guys said the fifth wheel wouldn't fit on our 4" lifted truck. It did with over a foot to spare in clearance. I had to make a 5 hour drive home the next day to get financial records for the following week when we pick up rv. Kent, the sales guy called and told me I had to pay for the washer and dryer to get them ordered. Stated that I should give him CC #'s and that the transaction would be cancelled when we came in to sign papers. Sounded funny to me, seeing as it was included in loan. Sent an email with financial info and CC info to Kelly, finance lady. She said she didn't know why Kent would request such a thing. 5 minutes later, Kent called and said it was not necessary. I believe they were trying to trap me into the deal. We hadn't signed anything yet. But if I backed out of the deal, then I'd be stuck with a $2300 set of appliances. We showed up at 8:30 am, and were assured it wouldn't take more than 4-5 hours total by salesman previous week. They did not have appliances installed as was the agreement. They took 4 hours to install hitch, which was expected, no big. Then they said that they couldn't install appliances due to space and couldn't tip them into closet. They completely tore my master closet out to get them in. They cut the dryer vent into the side of the rv. Put closet back together incorrectly and realized they forgot to hook dryer up. So these same guys who said the only way to install them was to tip them in, commenced to sliding the dryer, which was on top, out, hook it up and slide it back in without any need to tear down closet. My husband was pissed. Duh. He tried to tell them to slide them in in the first place, he wasn't a professional, though. They cut a piece of my closet ceiling out for no reason. They were so forceful in this that they cracked the gel coating on the side of the rv. Dealer tried to hide it or overlook it but we seen it.Final walkthrough was a joke. Many questions unanswered. Employee didn't know much and said he didn't know to many questions. Then stated he had only worked there since April. Ready to load up rv and mechanics repeatedly ran jacks in and out to ensure fit, I guess. They got it loaded, but had to stop in middle for some reason. Got out of the dealer after spending 8 hours and 49 minutes there cause of their incompetence. With 3 kids. Got rv to campsite an hour away and jacks would not work. It was dark and had to have help and many blocks to get it off. We live in the thing, so we had to have a place to sleep. We noticed after we got it unloaded and inside, realized carpet was filthy as can be cause there was so many workers in and out of the bedroom to install washer and dryer. Told dealer jack was broke and they just couldn't come fix it. Told me that we had to bring it in. We couldn't because we couldn't load it. Finally loaded it with crane from work, took it home and fixed it ourselves. Only way it would get done right.Went to Missouri next day to pay taxes and get license. Kelly at dealer messed those up. Had to make 2 trips to Mo and 1 back to dealer to get fixed. Still didn't. Kelly blamed DOR. Which it was her fault. We weren't in the red so we just let it go. Then found out she gave the wrong lienholder to our insurance. And the dealer obviously "lost" our final walkthrough paper that we signed with gel coat damage info. They sent us a blank form and told us just to sign and return. We filled it out and signed it and dated it with current date. This was a month after purchase. This is a horrible company to deal with. This dealership is the BEST. They've worked us in when we've had repair issues. Todd has been great to walk us through purchase options for over 2 years with No pressure! Always great, friendly, upfront and professional service in all departments. Looking forward to picking up our new Toyhauler in April.

Thompson RV sales was a very good experience. We looked all over the local area for a camper. Thompson had the best selection and prices. The experience there was great. They were there to answer any questions, not pushy at all. When we picked up our camper they went thru it from hitch to bumper to make sure we knew everything about the camper. I would recommend Thompsons for anyone who is looking for a camper of any kind.

They were not very accommodating to the customer. My husband worked in Moline and was working 14 hours a day and needed to get the hitch in for us to get our new camper and they would not help and try to work us in. He had to take off four hours of work. I thought the prices were good. The sales guy we had did not know much everytime we asked a question he had to get someone else to answer it so we spent alot of time there.

Thompson Family RV treated us like a part of their family. It was great to see our name on the Welcome Board when we came in to pick up our camper. There was never any pressure to buy and the maintenance department went above and beyond to be sure our used camper was in great condition. Thanks!

After searching for several years for the perfect RV, we found it at Thompson Family RV using the internet. Their website has a wonderful selection complete with detailed pictures and very competitive prices and it was very user friendly. Even though we were in Alaska, their knowledgeable and friendly staff made the long-distance purchase easy. We traveled a long way for this RV but it was certainly worth it. The RV is everything we expected. Their service is exceptional.

We returned to Thompson’s to upgrade our Class A. We have done business with them for many years. We checked other places and always came back to Thompson’s.
