I didn't want to pay $100 for a broken tachometer. Offered to buy the broken tach for $10 and got shut down, offered to buy the obsolete light bulb out of the tach and was told "Can't help ya". He then handed the tach to his counter-man and said "Put this on that bike out back, it doesn't need to work to sell it". 'Nuff said.

I have done business with them before and they were more helpful then. The place has a lot of used parts if you know what you need, the counter-men are OK but the owner, well, not so much. He could have made $5 on the bulb, could have made $10 on the broken tach, apparently if Al can't get $100 he would rather have $0.
