Provided by YP.comWhat a screw job. If you like being charged 4x the value of parts, and having labor hours billed like Barbra Streisand is doing the repair, then this is the place for you.
I was charged 450 dollars for a 99 dollar condenser fan motor. I would have been OK with 250. The tech (the one who charges like Barbra Streisand) tried to sell me a run capacitor for the same motor for 150 dollars. That was no big fat no go. I know what capacitors cost.
Initially, Barbra Streisand claimed in the "I need to replace X,Y & Z" phase, that the whole unit needed to be replaced. Big nix on that. Then he claimed that the condensor fan motor would be the original Rheem part.
It is not the original Rheem part. Barbara originally ran the ground and the two motor rotation control jumpers on the OUTSIDE, of the safety grill. I made him put them on the inside and he was not happy. Not one bit. I was making him do double work. I figured it was worth breaking Barbara's heart if it prevented someone from being electrocuted.
Total cost of the repair is 750.00. It is a job I could have done myself if I had the time. I didn't and I accept that I will need to pay for that. However, there is a limit and this exceeds that limit by a cool three hundred dollars.
Let's review.
-Overbilling,
-Poor installation
-Misrepresentation
-Ridiculous up selling on non-essential items.
I will not call these guys back, even for a warranty issue, the lack of ethics on display leads me to believe in the possibility of deliberate tinkering with the working parts of the system.

In this email I have taken the time out to review how this company is is advertising as Numerous Contractors within the So. East...NONE of which are LEGIT an all are MISLEADING CUSTOMERS. I have contacted Mr.Poyastro in regards to this issue. I noticed some was up after calling one of his numbers to get another company vehicle in my driveway...after working in my home & not getting the service i paid for i knew something was wrong. He is advertising all over misleading customers, all over the internet an even over the phone. He has a license for 1 company Cool Air USA and markets himself all over with different names and phone numbers all leading back to him...all of the locations he is using are random: condos, warehouses, office buildings, homes or hotels etc…He has taken over the Internet by Advertising and Misleading Customers Everywhere.
A license is only good for solely 1 company; along with that its suppose to be your own company you are representing. He is falsifying himself all over the net and misleading customers…I think something should be done…please review the links below for your convenience and let me know what you think...

Provided by YPmobileThey are seriously the worst. I had my ac go out on a Sunday so I called them for service. Their ad advertises that they guarantee service within an hour. With a newborn at home, and it being early August in South Florida, time is of the essence when your air goes out. I spoke with a representative around 11 AM who assured someone would be at my home within an hour. Around 1 o'clock I called to see where the tech was and why he was running late. The representative advised that he was tied up on a previous job and assured me that he would be there within an hour or so. I called again at 2:30 and received another excuse but was given another assurance he was on the way and I would have someone there by 4 o'clock. I called around 530 and the rep says he is just finishing up his last job and would be there shortly. So now it is about 6 1/2 hours since I initially called and I am sitting in South Florida in the middle of August with a newborn. Yet again I was given assurances that someone was enroute and would be there shortly. Around 7:40 PM I about had enough and called and at that point the rep advised I should just reschedule for the next day as they don't know when they could send a rep out. It is really unbelievable that this place is still in business when they have this type of service. I advised them on every call that I have a newborn in the house and absolutely need my AC done today. I told them every time if they can't come today that is fine please just tell me so I can call someone else to get it fixed. They had the audacity at 8 PM after not showing up for nine hours and telling me that someone is not going to be able to come until the next day to try and sell me a service plan. How in the world would I sign up for a service plan with this terrible company when they can't even show up to the initial call with in nine hours. Turns out they never showed up and I sat through an entire day and night without air-conditioning due to their assurances that someone would be at my place shortly. Please never hire this company as they are the absolute worst and quite frankly I really don't understand how they stay in business.

Provided by YP.comThis place is horrible! My AC was not working and i called them up to ask about their price. The guy showed up without me making any appointment but i still let him look at the AC because i was desperate..i needed to get it fixed soon. He told me that the capacitor stopped working and i had to pay $400 to replace. He also told me to change a number of other things but i refused...thank God! About a month after the visit the AC had the same problem again so i called up and explained to them what happened. The guy on the phone was so rude and told me that i can't get the money back. When i asked how much it will cost to fix he told me another $30. About an hour later another guy called from the place and said he's on his way to check the AC..i simple told them i did not schedule any appointment so he didn't come. Then the man i spoke to before called back and said that i made the appointment and was so unprofessional. Trust me, this place is horrible! do not let them repair your AC!

The job they offered to the customer was completed quickly. They missed first appointment, and called several times after to offer an apology and a discounted service.
I finally agreed.
O second appointment, the technician arrived late ( appointment was from 9 to noon, he showed up at 1 pm.)
I should have known for the lack of punctuality, they are not a professional company.
They hooked the vacuum in one vent ( I know the vacuum is suppose to go on all vents) stayed for 5 minutes and left.
After, I started sneezing and developed irritated eyes for days.

Provided by YP.comI had Cool Air USA come give me an estimate for vent cleaning which was supposed to be 8.95 per vent. Well the guy came in, and handed me an estimate for $1,400 to clean the unit itself among other things because I needed this or that and something else and then tried to intimidate me about all the mold that was growing in my house. I call my regular AC people (Aspen Air by the way) beg them to drive me way, they did and did all the cleaning of the unit, checked the freon (they said it was full didn't need any), checked the coils (they said they were good), and looked for 'mold' and couldn't find it. I had my unit cleaned for $94.00 and saved myself 1,306.00

Provided by YP.comComplelety ripped off. They went on Sunday and I could not get a comparable quote. Charged me $480 for something that should be charged $200 (parts and labor). They claim on the cost of the parts, but I found that they were around $30.00. STAY AWAY

Provided by YP.comI'm not surprise at all to what the above person said, as this people came to my house and look at the a/c, they sopposedly charged it with freon paid over 700 to do this and replace a small part which I found out later I didnt even needed, the next day it was still the same so i called them until I finally was able to contatc them, they gave me an appointment and they never showed up, I keep calling them until I was able to get them back to my house and they said something else needed to be replace and it was going to cost me over $1400. Why they didnt tell me this the first time when they came, because this is what they live of, they are dishonest.
