Crayons was a life saver when I returned to south Florida; after serving 8 years in the U.S. Navy. Miss Gio and Miss Maria went above and beyond to help both myself and my children transition into a new lifestyle. While my husband comple...ted another tour of service overseas. The entire staff is open and inviting with both parents and children. My babies were embraced with open arms and became part of a wonderful family. I have heard stories about many daycare facilities in the area; from my friends who also have young children and Crayons surpasses any expectations a parent might have of a childcare facility. At Crayons, both children and parents become part of a wonderful family. If you want a safe, warm, loving, nurturing and enriching place to bring your children while you work; this is the only place in Broward county you should consider.

Stay away!! I should have known from my first interaction with the owner. She seemed rushed and bothered when I asked about background checks and first aid certification. The first week my wife noticed a bruise on my 3 yo daughters lip. My daughter said the teacher squeezed her lips and said "be quiet". The last straw was when her Nana picked her up and she was standing in the corner crying. Teacher said "she wouldn't eat her snack!?!" When she got outside she complained that her mouth hurt. When her Nana asked her why she said the teacher hit her. Stay Away!! I'm ashamed to say they are "Christian". May God forgive them. My wife and I have, but will never go back. Please protect your child and keep them away.

I just enrolled my son at this day care and so far I haven't had an issue, however I've noticed that in the mornings I don't really see that there is a specific structure going on with the kids, it's as if they can just do as they please in the room also I constantly hear the kids crying, aren't they suppost to have something in place to keep the kids from crying too long?? I am going to ask for a curriculum soon and also I wish that they would ask everyone to take off their shoes before they walk in the classroom, our shoes are dirty obviously, why is it ok to just walk into the baby room when the kids are on the floor playing??. I'm giving this day care a try and seeing if it's worth it. I really hope so because their time is convenient. Oh by the way, my son just started there and he already has Horton a runny nose.

I highly do not recommend this day care...they are unsanitary and just plain disgusting. My son has only been there for the past 2 months and he has been sick more then he has been his whole life. When I picked him up from school his sippy cup would have his chocolate milk from the morning and his juice from lunch mixed together. Please dont send your child here they are over priced and unsafe. Hopefully for the safety of the children they wont be in bisness for much longer.
