Indian Ridge Middle School offers educational instruction to students in grades six through eight. It serves more than 2,000 students and has a student-to-teacher ratio of 19-to-1. The school s curriculum comprises subjects, such as English, math, social studies, science, language arts and reading. It is a recipient of Five Star School Award and the Golden School Award. The school has athletic teams for various sports, including softball, soccer, basketball, track and field, volleyball, cheerleading and flag football. It also has several clubs, such as the Future Educators of America, student council, Technology Student Association, National Junior Honor Society and Students Against Destructive Decisions. Indian Ridge Middle School is located in Davie, Fla., and is a part of the Broward County School District.
