This is the second time I rented from this location and on both occasions, I was requested to put MORE gas in the truck than what it was when I first rented it. Furthermore, when I informed the guy that I had already put gas in the truck for the 10 miles that I used, he told me to put another 1 1/2 gallons in the tank, bringing the amount over the original (take out) amount. I also told him I wanted to pay cash and he refused to accept my cash and charged my credit card. I told him that I would deny the additional charge for gas (on the principal only) and he just shrugged his shoulders and gave me the number of the field manager. When I contacted the field manager, it was more or less the same, except he raised his voice at me and told me that the gas was an estimation and I was responsible to put whatever the attendant told me to put in. FYI - if you drive 10 miles on a small (10') truck from this U-Haul, plan on putting in 3 gallons of gas. My advice to anyone considering this location, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS U-HAUL LOCATION AS THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RIP YOU OFF ON GAS.
