Western High School offers education to students in grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, business technology and visual arts. The school also offers classes in computer education, journalism, television production, physical education, Latin, French and Spanish. Additionally, it offers a range of sports activities that include swimming, football, cheerleading, cross country, golf, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, softball, volleyball, and track and field. The school also organizes various extracurricular programs that include debate club, ecology club and the National Honor Society. Western High School is a part of the Broward County Public Schools.
