Brian is an advanced practice nurse (APRN) and a board certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. He received his Associates of Science in Nursing at Edison State Community College, and started as a bedside nurse providing care in Cardiac telemetry while concurrently working in Hospice inpatient care. He continued his nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit taking care of many critical and severely ill patient with chronic and acute respiratory illness as well as severely septic and post cardiac arrest patients in which he was nominated and awarded The DAISY Award for compassionate and skillful care. While working in critical care he continued is education and completed his Bachelor of Nursing at Ohio University and his Masters of Nursing at the University of Cincinnati. With his experience at the bedside he understands the need for compassionate and patient focused care. He is excited to share and apply his knowledge of diseases and his devotion to patient care to improve the outcomes of patient’s suffering from chronic conditions such as COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, as well as many other respiratory, and lung diseases.
