Back with another pizza review...

Back with another pizza review. Today it is CiCi's Pizza. We have only given a single 1 star review and this is it. The price is GREAT! It is an all you can eat pizza buffet, great for the kids maybe, but as far as pizza goes WOW it is horrible. They serve up special kinds of pizza like Mac n cheese pizza, b&q pizza and other misses. You would be better off going to the store and buying a jacks freezer pizza. We are normaly not so harsh on pizza shops, after all we love pizza, just not this pizza. The place is always packed (because of the price) And it is very messy, very tight fit in the booths and did I mention how bad the pizza is? Let me try to explain what the pizza is like. Hard cardboard type of crust, very thin layer of very odd sauces, and a pinch of cheese. I tried every kind of pizza they had and they were all just very bad If you care about the taste of your pizza like we do stay clear of this place. It is cheap, and cheap is what you will get.

Filthy

This place was so dirty. The floor looked like it hadn't been swept in a week or more, and the counters where the buffet was at was just the same. The utensils were filthy. It took me three times to find one clean enough to eat with. The food tasted and looked old. There were trays that weren't filled on the buffet, so I didn't get half of what I would have wanted, that I paid for basically. I would not recommend anyone to eat at this particular Cici's resteraunt.

Extremely poor service from CiCi's franchise owner!

I am a regular customer and dine weekly at CiCi's Huber Heights location in Ohio. I am treated extremely well by the staff there and the cook does a fine job on the special order of pizza I get every time I come in. I am honored to tip the cook and busboy for a job well done. I been dining there for a good period of time to get to know the managers Kieth, Larry, Darren, Matt, Steve, and the new guy Frank. They are all super people and a privilege to know them. Each of them had address some minor issues I had in the past immediately on the spot and that is what impresses me with the management at Cici's and I keep coming back.

Unfortunately, I had the displeasure of meeting the franchise owner of the Huber Heights store, Robert Bird. He is rude and has a bad attitude and does not handle customer requests well. In my opinion, this does not put a good image on CiCi's. I'm just one voice.

I entered the Cici's in Huber Heights for lunch in a good mood and was treated cheerfully by the cashier. I placed my order and I noticed some coupons for a free soda if you complete a survey. I inquired about receiving one and the employee said I would have to ask management because they're not to be given out until the following day. So, I asked Frank who was the manager on duty. He said it was not his call that I need to ask the franchise owner who was at that store today. The owner didn't even introduce himself. I had to ask what his name was. I asked him if I may have a coupon and he stated: " Gotta come back tomorrow." I mentioned that I could wait till after tomorrow to use the coupon and he just walked away. Rude! I asked Frank for the corporate number and Robert came back and personally gave me the corporate number. He said it so fast I had to ask him several times for the number. I even told him that his attitude sucks. His response was "why, because I wouldn't give you a coupon?" and he walked off again before I can even respond to his question.

I am devastated at the way I was treated by Robert Bird. As a franchise owner, does he have the privilege to treat customers in this manner? Is this good public relations?

At this time, I would not recommend going to this restaurant while Robert Bird manages there. It's the first time I seen him there. Hopefully, it is only temporary. I will keep you posted.
