About 12 years ago, I had a car accident and among an array of injuries, I accrued two ruptured discs. My back would "go out" occasionally, which would majorly inhibit my mobility - I dealt with it as I thought it was something I just had to live with. After moving to Ohio about seven years ago, I began seeing K&S Chiro after my wife recommended their service to possibly resolve the back issues that contributed to a full on episode. I visited K&S Chiro who helped adjust my back into alignment which significantly reduced the frequency of episodes. If/When one did occur, they worked professionally and persistently to alleviate my symptoms, and to eventually subdue the episode.

I recently experienced an especially traumatic episode where my back was severely jarred. At times, I couldn't even situate myself into a relieved position. I hadn't been to the K&S Chiro for quite some time, but they were able to see me immediately, and the result of my recent visit is the reason for this review (I never write reviews).

During my initial recent visit, Dr. Schumacher recommended that I not get an adjustment, as she thought my condition was too extensive for spinal manipulation. Instead, for my initial visit, they used soothing electrical muscle stimulation and ultrasound therapy to loosen up my contorted back muscles. She asked me to come in the next day, and gently adjusted my back for immediate relief. It was as though my lower back continued to adjust itself throughout the day as inflammation quelled.

If you have ever had severe back pain, then you know of the debilitating effect it can have on every aspect of your life. K&S do not work miracles, but are able to position and adjust your body in such a way to allow relief and promote restoration.

I have been to several chiropractors, and I could not more highly recommend Drs. Koniki and Schumacher. Their staff are efficient and professional, yet still warm and friendly. I lived with pain for years before I saw Dr. Schumacher. What an incredible difference that office made in my life. I've had to move out of state and haven't found anything CLOSE to Koniki Schumacher Chiropractic.

I have a 12 week old infant. One month ago she had a stiff neck and then began crying every night from 5-9. She started gagging after a feeding, constantly coughing and no longer wanted to be held or she would cry. Her doctor called it acid reflux and dismissed the stiff neck entirely. He put her on Zantac and Prevacid; neither of which seemed to be working even after three weeks. I went to Dr. Konicki and he not only really listened but he was honest and informative. He assured me that it is a slow process with infants just to be safe. My daughter has only had 3 treatments in two weeks and has seen almost immediate results! She's passing gas and bowl movements more regularly, smiling and cooing and the best part...no longer screaming at night! Dr. Konocki has brought our happy, little girl back to us! I will always be grateful.

I really enjoyed talking with both Dr. Konicki and Dr. Schumacher. They are both helpful in explaining possible reasons for the pain I am feeling and helping to find ways to relieve that pain. I would recommend coming to this chiropractic office to anyone who wants good and friendly service.

Finally, I could not take it any longer and, at my husband's suggestion, made an appointment with Dr. Schumacher. She found several problems and started treatment. They are very personable, caring, listen to where the problem is and really help with the treatment to correct it.



I was in pain for three weeks without any relief. Other doctors just kept giving me pain medication, and I was not getting better. Once I came to this office I was given treatment without pain medication, and finally feel well enough to work again.
