This company appears to be professional but is far from it. The clients have no idea how the employees are treated here. Mark is knowledgeable but don't catch him on a bipolar swing or it could cost you your job for no reason. The foreman running their projects is a complete gomer with no concept of productivity, management or safety laws. He gave bad reports on my performance because I had knowledge of him cheating on his wife & kids and even bringing his mistress on job sites. Nothing but drama here. An employee of almost two years I saw two of my co-workers basically forced to quit so the company could avoid paying unemployment. This is not a good company to work for.

We have no less than seven contract deviations on our deck and hardscape project with this company. No building permit was obtained as required by Montgomery County – if we have it inspected now, we may have to tear it down and rebuild it at our own cost. A zoning plan was not submitted per Washington Township requirements. The deck was not built to code. It is attached to the brick veneer of our home; this is expressly forbidden in the Ohio Residential Building Code (Section 502.2.2.2). The deck manufacturer’s installation specifications were not followed. We now have a deck with an invalid 25-year warranty on the planks. Mark Webber also re-used the 20-year old joists from our old deck, despite the contract calling for “removal of existing deck.” Rather than having joists supporting the deck that span the entire length, we have patched in pieces added on to the old frame with wood screws. The ‘underground’ wiring for the landscape lighting sticks out of the ground in one place in spite of the National Electric Code requirement for this to be buried six inches below ground (NEC Article 300.5). And he failed to add any organic material when he planted the trees and bushes in spite of the contract calling for “2 inches of organic material”.

This is the end result of a two-week project that took him six months to complete, with rework at every step.

In spite of this, his lawyer says “it looks like a nice deck.” Yes, this work is so bad we have had to get lawyers involved.

When I saw the report on this ...

When I saw the report on this site that someone said that Mark Webber's Landscaping is a bad company, they are so wrong! I have done business with Mark and his team for over 15 years and they have always served my needs on a prompt and timely basis! Mark is someone who always tells you the GOD honest truth of what is going on in your yard and is never afraid if it not political correct.

I know that Mark and his team are passionate and hard working and will work with anyone who has concerns and issues. He has always been polite and respectful to me and my family.

When I was diagnosed with cancer and was very sick, Mark stopped by my house and checked my yard, watered some wilted plants and ask my wife if he could help her! He never charged or ask to be paid, he just simply cared!

So the person who wrote what they did, they are wrong and I mean terrible wrong with what they stated! Do buisnes with Mark Webber's Landscaping!

Happy Plants

I purchased 5 trees from Mark Webber's Landscaping two years ago, this spring they look great! I have bought trees from other places and this has been the first time in 15 years that plants have actually grown in my yard. I think the real difference is that Mark Webber's Landscaping gets to know your site and helps you choose plants that will fit the site you have. I am planning on buying more this spring from Mark, he is truly Dayton Ohio's Garden Guru!

Results matter!

I have be a client of Mark Webber's landscaping now for 15 years, they have done everything for me from installing a new patio 10 years ago to now doing my weekly bed care and mow my lawn. Mark Webber runs a first class business, his employees truly care about what my property looks like. Every phone call I have ever made has been return and every worry and concern has been followed up on.

I would recommend Mark Webber's Landscaping to anyone who wants the job done right!

Great results

I have used landscape company's through the years to help me with my property. I have seen drunks and drugged employees, owners promises that never happened! I have been working with Mark Webber's Landscaping Company now for 5 years and they have done a excellent job from follow through on concerns to great finished projects. They are honest and very open with concerns that really have value, they aren't just selling you something, they are helping you!

I would strongly recommend Mark Webber's Landscaping!

Unhappy camper

All around, the work did not live up to expectations considering the hi prices they charged. Then they needed to finish a small project and learned only after we paid them that they would require another contract and another fee to just complete the work they were supposed to do the first time. Must need the money to pay for all their advertising.
