This is where I got my love and I adore every effort Arnie makes to ensure these pets go to good homes. I support this foundation to the utmost.

The ARNI Foundation is the best no kill shelter there is, hands down. 100% non-profit, All of the employees care about the well-being of each individual animal and theres never an empty bowl. They rescue animals directly from other shelters where they are going to be put to sleep, then they nurse them back to health and find them loving homes. The animals must think they've died and gone to heaven once they've been saved. Instead of cages, the animals get their own rooms with nice comfy beds and bountiful amounts of food at ARNI. Bunch of honest, hard working people at this organization and it really reflects on the animals! ADOPT TODAY

My fiance and I got two kitten...

My fiance and I got two kittens from here. One was isolated and is fine apart from some fleas. The other kitten was kept in a room with feral cats. When we brought him home he wouldn't eat, drink, or move around so we took him to the vet first thing in the morning. It turns out that he has a fleas and feline panleukopenia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feline_panleukopenia). I am not sure whether the Arni foundation knew this and did not tell us or whether they did not know. I don't know whether the kitten contracted the disease at the shelter (which the vet thinks is the likeliest scenario) or before it got there. Either scenario is bad because it is the Arni Foundation's responsibility to take care of the kittens since they then charge people money to adopt them. If they are unable to take care of them they should let the adopting parties know any conditions the kittens might have instead of chalking it up to the cat being friendly.

I will not be sending this kitten back to live in that hell hole.

It now has a lifelong, easily preventable disease thanks to the Arni Foundation.

ARNI

The ARNI foundation is the best place to adopt a pet. They have many cats and dogs that need homes. They get new animals weekly from Putnam County Animal Control, they save them from being euthanized. They are very friendly there and they keep the place clean as can be. They let you return the animal if things don't work out. There are a few animals there that have been there a long time that are in need of a forever home. Their hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday - Saturday. They are also on facebook, so look them up and see the pictures of all the animals they have. Or just go to their shelter located at 600 Mason Ave in between Nova Rd and US1
