Born, in Syracuse, New York, Dr. Wakeman moved to Ormond Beach in 1963 and has been a resident of the Greater Daytona Beach area since that time. This Seabreeze High School graduate attended Daytona Beach Community College, Stetson and the University of Florida before graduating from Life University, Atlanta, Ga. with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He completed two years of postgraduate study in neurology, spinal rehabilitation and is certified in manipulation under anesthesia. He is a past president of the Volusia/Flagler Chiropractic Society and maintains an active membership with the Florida and American Chiropractic Associations.
