Provided by YP.comI think the Desoto Public Library is a very nice library. Desoto, Iowa is a small town but has exceptional nice library staff. The library might be small but our director and directors assistant always seems to get the popular books and movies. We even have a preschool reading group that they let me bring my 5 month to and we have a reading program for school aged kids at night during the whole yearAND we have a summer reading program for 4-12 year olds or older.. We always have kids at the library sometime during the day. I think we have alot of stuff the bigger libraries have. WE have internet access, movies (dvd and vcr) audio books, programs for our kids, getting library books from other libraries that we don't have that our library asks for and much more.I volunteer up at the library sometimes and help out when I am up there if they need help. I feel so at home at the library and I am sure others do too. I give the Desoto Public Library a thumbs up on all of their programs for kids and adults. Our library may be small but is a great asset to our little friendly community.A very satisfied patron.
