Starside Elementary School provides academic enrollment to more than 500 students from prekindergarten through grade five. Its facility includes media center, cafeteria, gymnasium, music room, art room, discovery room, two computer labs, education classrooms, and an office complex with conference room, health office, principal's office and staff restroom. The school offers a variety of programs that include peer mediation, star reading, character education program, running club, student council, youth service alliance, and mentoring and tutoring program. It provides educational classes in reading, creative writing, English, math, science, language arts, social studies, and health and physical education. Starside Elementary School is a part of the De Soto School District and is located in De Soto, Kan.
