My husband and I had our photo taken during our vacation. We picked out a photo that we wanted. The girl getting us dressed was very attentive and nice. She tied my top so tight, I could hardly breathe, but it was worth it. A very friendly girl took our photo and sent us out front to view the photos. Another girl showed us all our photos and I didn't like any of them. It didn't look like the photo we chose. Because we didn't like our photos, the sales girl gave us an option of re-taking them or leaving. (she told us that if we were not happy, we were not obligated to pay anything) I really wanted an old time photo, so my husband reluctantly agreed. We were told that a more experienced photographer would be taking our photo. After getting dressed again, the lady, April, took our photos. Wow, what a difference!!! She posed us and moved us around. I really felt like she cared about giving us a great photo. She made us feel so comfortable and was very kind. After she was done, she showed us the photos she took. I loved all of them!!! We ended up getting several photos. My advice is to ask for an experienced person in the first place, so you don't have to do it twice. Definately the best old time photo place I have ever seen!! We now plan on making it a tradition to have one taken every year!

My fiance and I got our picture done here about a month ago when we were visiting the black hills from Washington. The guy who took our photo really knew what he was doing and didn't seem afraid to move us around the way he liked. Our costumes were great and the young lady helping us pick them out was polite and seemed interested in us. I would give five stars but when we were done the older lady who took our order just kept pushing and pushing to get another photo "for our parents" and said my fiance made a good "bar whore." We are people who can take a joke but she went about it all wrong.

I have seen these old time photos before but this place is huge! There are so many styles to choose from! I went in the winter, so they weren't open very late (actually I looked and couldn't find another photo place open for the winter anywhere) but the gal there was very helpful and got my pictures done in less than an hour so I took them with me. She even removed my son's acne, no charge. I was very satisfied. I thought the price was reasonable, since I have paid more for photos not nearly as nice.

It had the most helpful and delightful staff that was patient with us and gave us an experience well worth the price. I plan on going back every year with the diverse scenes, settings and costumes the options are endless!! Great for families and couples to enjoy!

This place is OVERPRICED and the service is poor. We payed extra to have two small pictures mailed to us, and it took over 15 days for us to receive them, it definitely should not have taken that long. Don't waste your money here!

The service was horrible. The girl kinda helping us showed us their dirty, smelly costumes. They must not clean them very often. Not much for selection. The girl went through the type of gowns in which we wanted to dress as and this is what she did - grabbed a dress and said this is for you, this one's for you and this one's for you. Not even looking at whether it was appropriate or not. My daughter wanted to dress as Calamity Jane. She gave her a suit. The photographer had little or no experience at taking pictures and seating people. Did not make sure everyone was looking at camera or had eyes open. Was not professional. The time it took to pick out a setting, costumes and then take picture was over an hour of our vacation. Make sure you have the time to waste. The pictures on the wall are not necessarily what you are going to get. Those pictures were taken by a professional who knew what they were doing.

Old time photo shop on Main street. On their webpage they have all their pictures on display for you to look at and brag how great of pictures and settings they have. So we were excited about getting several photos taken there and planned to spend a couple hundred bucks on them. Well we walk in and no prices are posted any where? So we ask about price and a setting. We were told to look at all their past pictures on display in the shop and to pick what we would want. They have a half a dozen or more of scantily clad women in corsets with flimsy shaws over them. We selected one of them for my wife. The lady behind the register tells us we couldn't do that cause, "this was a family place and she couldn't have her walking around the store half naked." So we picked out 2 other ones. We were told that those were special settings and have to be scheduled in advance. So we said we'll do their typical setting. $50.oo bucks for corset & blue jeans? Could've gotten better costume at Six Flags
