My mom was treated by Dr Kay for a painful ischemia of the finger condition or dying finger and prescribed hydrocodone with acetaminophen - the acetaminophen in the liquid formula was burning her throat and the doctor refused to switch her to oxycodone because his clinic does not prescribe that - interesting enough that is the same drug schedule for both medicines.

So my mom is in pain with no help from this doctor. Even thou I brought the bottle almost full of the hydrocodone back to him? Why would any decent doctor allow a patient to suffer needlessly in pain?????

His advice is to go to emergency room instead of him writing a prescription to replace the medicine that did not agree with my mom’s esophagus.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, which was a big mistake because it was 15 minutes before the lunch hour was over, so the doors were locked. Patients are obviously not welcome here, there was even an elderly couple that had to go back and wait in their car, it was about 35 degrees outside. I'm sorry I came here, what a waste of time because I won't be back
