I have been going to Sam's for about five years or so and cannot recommend him highly enough. I actually travel about 25 minutes to get to his shop it is that good. His hair cutting is by far the best I've experienced in getting my haircut for the last 35 years around Detroit. He is extremely attentive to detail, knows how to handle men's hair and is in outstanding barber. And if you need ear or nasal hair removed he includes that with a cut using a wax treatment :)
