Delaco Steel is one of the leading steel part suppliers of blanked and slit material to the automotive industry. Founded in 1973, it is a member of the Diez Group of companies. The company has two facilities in Dearborn, Mich., with a total floor space of more than 600,000 square feet. Its manufacturing plants perform precision blanking, slitting and oscillating shear processing operations with more than 10 blanking presses, three slitters and an oscillating shear. In addition, it maintains a warehouse facility in Buffalo, N.Y., to service its customers in the eastern United States. The company serves various customers, including Severstal North America, Ford Motor Company and Lapeer Metal Stamping.
