Dr. Tewari rates an A+++ with me in all areas: competence, "bedside" manner and caring, thorough explanations, and results. He performed a lensectomy and vitrectomy (draining the vitreous fluid) on my left eye after cataract surgery (by another doctor) that did not go well. During cataract surgery (at a relatively young age), my lens sack opened up and some of the cataract fell into the vitreous fluid. I saw what looked like little black seeds and a leaf when I took off the bandage. These started disintegrating into millions of little specks, like a dust storm, so that I could barely see anything out of that eye, and it affected my overall vision with both eyes. Dr. Tewari did an amazing job restoring my vision completely. The emergency surgury was a bit of an ordeal, and it did take a little while for my eyes to settle in as was expected, but I am so happy for such great vision. As an added benefit, I don't have the floaters in my left eye now (because the fluid was drained), but I still have them in my right eye even after cataract surgery. I was completely happy with Dr. Tewari.
