Provided by YP.comI won a 2008 Envoy with around 118,000 miles from an eBay auction listed by Ritetrack. The dealership refused to sell the vehicle to me even though it was a no reserve auction. They gave three different reasons as to why they wouldn't sell it to me. First, Kal (a rep of Ritetrack) said the vehicle was sold locally. Afterward, he told me he was mistaken---that the vehicle had not been sold but was showing up in his system as being sold since the dealership was having trouble getting the title to clear. (Odd, because on the eBay auction they listed the title was clear.) Lastly, he ended up saying his boss refuses to do business with me because I called the agency from whom they purchased the vehicle. I asked if this agency would be permitted to tell me whether the title would be transferred to the dealership or if instead it was going to remain an issue that would interfere with my ability to acquire the vehicle. The dealership accused me of trying to obtain "confidential information," but the agency with whom they did business didn't furnish me with any information they shouldn't have (including my requested information); nor was I trying to pry for anything I wasn't permitted to know. I was simply inquiring to determine whether they would be allowed to share this information. I explained to Kal I was simply making an inquiry, and that the agency with whom they did business was responsible for knowing what information they could or could not disclose. He continued to state his boss wouldn't do business with me, implying I was engaging in some sort of fraudulent activity for simply trying to figure out whether the title would likely transfer smoothly.
My personal opinion (I stress opinion, as it's hard to know for sure what a dealership's motives are) is that they decided the auction price was too low. I won the vehicle for $4,001 total, which is great for a vehicle that is less than six years old, includes luxuries like heated leather seats and a premium sound system, and likely has mostly highway miles.
What I can say for sure is their handling of this situation was unprofessional and very disappointing. My husband and I called the dealership on numerous occasions, and we never made any positive progress. We also asked for Abe (the apparent owner/boss) to call us, and we also left messages on his line. He never called us back. I feel like we were treated quite unfairly in this situation, and I hope they will demonstrate better business practices moving forward.

Provided by YP.comI had the most wonderful of car buying experiences with the entire staff at Rite Track Auto in Dearborn, MI. To start the experience, I contacted one of the main salesmen about a 2004 F150 he had advertised on their website. He informed me when I called that he had sold the vehicle less than half an hour prior to my calling; I asked that he contact me in the rare event the original sale were to fall through. It did, and he did. I drove an hour to look at the truck the next day, and the entire experience was positive. My significant other (extremely car-intelligent) went with me to look at the truck. First, we test drove it. No issues. Then he inspected it mechanically for nearly an hour. The staff even put it on the lift in their shop for him to look at it when asked to do so (that required them moving a vehicle they already had on the lift out of their shop). No issues. Briefly muttered that a fog lamp bulb was out, and the other salesman Kal jumped at the opportunity to quickly fix it for me (even though I had not yet confirmed I was buying the truck). No other issues on a great truck. Went for a brief final test drive, and still not one problem. Finally decided to purchase the truck, and the entire team was helpful from there on out as well. The salesman set me up with their finance specialist, and he got the ball rolling. He did a great job getting me the best rates possible financing the truck, and he also helped a great deal with explaining the powertrain warranty I chose for the truck (awesome deal). Overall, the entire trip was definitely the best first car buying experience I possibly could have had. Abe (owner and head salesman) was very knowledgeable and professional, and his wife was very kind while we were all in the office chatting. Steve, the salesman selling the truck to me, was also very professional. He was great at showing us everything he could about the truck and answering any and all questions truthfully and to the best of his ability. Kal, another salesman present during the whole experience, was also very helpful while we were inspecting the truck, and his extensive knowledge of Ford's 5.4L was great. The atmosphere was fantastic, and Rite Track Auto is a very impressive, friendly, family-owned dealership. And might I add that this entire experience was AFTER HOURS (due to my hectic work and class schedule)! We were there from 5:30 to 8:30pm, and no one grumbled or complained. The whole family stayed to help, answer questions, and complete the sale. Rite Track Auto was a great place to buy a truck. Awesome job, guys, and thanks again!!!

Provided by YPmobileRite track auto is not the place that you will find quality used vehicles. You're better off buying from craigslist. All of the sales men tell you that the vehicle has been inspected by a mechanic and the warranty covers anything for the transmission and engine and the warranty does not cover anything that goes wrong with the car. They find a way to blame the damages on you so they don't have to cover it. I had my vehicle for 2 days and the check engine light came on. A friend of mine also Purchased a car from here and it was running hot after a week. After they sell you the car anything that goes wrong they are going to tell you "it's a used vehicle, what do you expect" the issues that I have had and that my friend have had were long term issues that a mechanic would have caught if the vehicle was really inspected. Please do not make the same mistake that I did by purchasing from rite track auto. Better business bureau rated them a "D" and they have serval complaints. Save your money an run as far as you can from rite track auto. You WONT be on the rite track. And please do not purchase their bull crap warranty please!!!
