When I was sold the unit I told the sales rep that I will not buy a unit because I move every 3-5 years. I'm not spending $6,000 to leave it behind. The sales man assured me that the company will gladly come out and uninstall the unit for me, package it up and get it ready for transport as part of their services. Once I get to my new place, they will install the unit for $100 dollars. The company closed their installation division. As a result they subcontracted a company to do all their installations. They refused to honor their agreement and said that I can hire their subcontractor to do the work. The subcontractor lives 2.5 hrs away. He wanted a lot of money to do the work which was supposed to be for free. (I'm expected to cover his 5hr round trip plus labor.) I called the company, and the owner had his secretary tell me that it is too bad, but there's nothing that they can do. But if it helps...my original sales rep is no longer employed by them. Well that doesn't help me at all.
