This is REAL Venezuelan food! I long for the arepas and cachapas from my days living in Caracas and cannot be happier that this restaurant expanded from the Sweet Auburn market to down the street in Decatur. A must try for anyone who hasn't already.

Had a yearning for an empanada last night so I made a run to Arepa Mia. Best decision of the day!! I love this Venezuelan food! Reminds me of the typical food from Colombia. The corn cakes or arepas are stuffed with delicious meats that have been cooked for a long time in wonderful seasonings, and the sauces are served on the side for you to dip. Service was very nice and I enjoyed every bite of my chicken empanadas. The only thing that would have made it better, would be better seating (instead of facing the wall or directly outside to traffic) and the music was a bit too loud. But it was pretty clean and relatively fast since it's all prepared as you order.

My favorite restaurant in the world!! The taste is gourmet with decent prices. The whole place is gluten and soy free, and the food is the best.
