Provided by YP.comI went in the other day to pick up a book for class. The place is unorganized-books line the floors, the books are simply shoved onto shelves where they fit, not in any sort of order. When I asked for help, the workers walked me over to the section and had me fend for myself. It took me five minutes to find the book....it sells books for 60% of original value. If you need it quick and cheaper than amazon, it's an option, if not go somewhere else.

Provided by YP.comThe book nook sells used books, cds, movies, comics, etc. This is one of those bookstores that is packed from floor to ceiling, relatively well-organized. Prices are reasonable. My two complaints are 1) they often mark books with a bright stamp that says "book nook" and makes the book obviously used. This makes it hard to shop for books as gifts, where other used bookstores have books that can pass for new. 2) their policies for selling books and using credit are unclear. Sometimes they let you use credit, other times they don't, other times only up to a certain amount. This needs to be put in writing. But for a part of town that doesn't have a lot of used bookstores, Book nook is pretty great.

Provided by YP.comIt's a given that Atlanta has a terrible selection of bookstores, especially stores for used books. Book Nook is an Atlanta institution, and they have a large selection, lots of trade paperbacks and kids books, as well as comics, cds, and dvds. But their buying policies are really strange--how much you get depends on who happens to be there and the mood they are in, and trading in credit is also tricky--it seems you can't use credit to pay for a whole purchase, just a certain percent of a purchase, and that percent also seems to change with the staff. So if you need a mass-market paperback, it's a great place to shop, but not so good to sell your books there.

Provided by YP.comBook nook has a large selection of books, cds, movies, comics, and other printed matter. If you are looking for a book other than mass market, you might not find it, but you will probably find something you weren't looking for anyway. They buy used books and cds too, and they offer trade value that is pretty reasonable.
