Columbia High School, founded in 1966, provides learning opportunities and academic instruction to students in grade nine. The school offers instruction in language arts, social studies, mathematics and science. It manages the Fine Arts & Communications Academy and the Culinary Arts & Public Service Academy. Columbia High School also provides guidance counseling services. The school organizes sports activities in softball, cross-country and football. It operates Beta, chess and reading clubs. The school operates a parent-teacher-student association. It additionally manages a library media center that offers access to books and audiovisual materials.
