Founded in 1828, Columbia Theological Seminary is an educational institution located in Decatur, Ga. The institution provides a range of academic, continuing education and lay programs to more than 500 students. It offers master and doctoral degree programs in a variety of subjects, such as divinity, arts and theological studies. The seminary also offers courses in educational ministry, pastoral care and counseling. In addition, it has a bookstore that contains titles on homiletics, missiology, spirituality, and African-American and Biblical studies. Its facility includes a library that contains a collection of various magazines, newspapers and periodicals. Columbia Theological Seminary is accredited by various organizations, including the Association of Theological Schools and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
