Provided by YP.comWe first visited Depeaux just after they opened. The place was jumping and crowded! Wait staff, being new, was understandably slow and knew little about the menu. I had a tray of drinks (not one, but a TRAY) dumped over my head just as my meal arrived! So I didn't get to taste the food! I was offered new food but declined as I was more interested at the point in getting home to a shower. A couple weeks later we went back and the place had a sewage leak and it smelled so bad that no one was in the restaurant. We of course went someplace else. And we have not been back!

Provided by YP.comFor those fans of cajun cuisine, this is a great option. My wife and I used to go to Huey's on Peachtree St. for brunch the begneits and the Community Coffee (and the crawfish etoufee for me). They closed probably because the owners weren't the best and the service was REALLY slow. We've been looking for a place like Huey's for brunch and we've found it at Depeaux's. We had the Pain Perdue french toast which was UNBELIEVABLE and they serve some excellent andouille sausage. They don't have beignets on the menu but they do make them...and they do it well. I was told by the manager that they will be on the menu officially soon. We plan on going back for dinner but certain for brunch, it's the best. It was a little piece of home. Go to this place and you won't be disappointed.
