Provided by YP.comI am so excited to be the first to review this shop, as I just completed a transaction with them today. In early October, my car (a mini cooper) suffered catastrophic engine damage on a trip out of town. Rather than take it to a repair shop in the city, we had it towed back home by Piqua. The entire way, the driver assured me that they had worked and serviced Mini Coopers before, and were capable of the job. I assume now, he meant only if that car was not under warranty. They were quick to let me know the valve springs needed replaced. They were quick to mention the cracked engine block and quick to provide me with an estimate of $1100.00. Then I contacted the warranty office. It then took two weeks for them to reassess the damage to $5500. I said fine. They took the engine out of the car at this point, assuring I could no longer retrieve it to have it taken to another shop. The warranty office needed called by Piqua so they could send an assessor of their own. This phone call took three weeks, and only took place after I had the warranty office call Piqua themselves. Another week went by before they faxed the parts needed. And then a staggering three more weeks passed until labor was completed and I could retrieve my car (Jan 13, 2015) , whereupon I had to pay $600.00 above the warranty. Words cannot explain the lazy, rude and all around horrific customer service at Piqua Repair, nor can they convey the amount of effort needed to get this car repaired when they realized a warranty was involved. I will never again take a car here and will actively campaign so that no other person patronizes such a shady, slow, rude, and lazy shop.
