I am the biggest supporter of small business and #ShopLocal around. I urge you to never set foot in here! I should’ve done my research… whether it’s WISE COUNTY BOOT REPAIR, OR Robb Williamson Boot Repair or North Texas Boot repair…the results are the same: it’s the guys at 807 N Main Street, and you should NEVER EVER GO HERE!

I have a great boot place off Cherry drive in Fort Worth that has worked on 20+ pair of boots or shoes for me. They have resoled, re-heeled, re-stitched, polished, renewed and relieved all of my footwear. They do dress shoes, as well as boots. But it’s an hour drive away.

So when I found Wise County Shoe and Boot Repair, I was excited to have a local place! However, NO good deed goes UNPUNISHED… a Lesson I was about to Learn with EMPHESIS!

On December 4, 2018 I dropped my boots off to be re-soled. Normally a 3-day job for Texas Boot and Saddlery. Maybe 2 weeks tops, if they have been busy. So when the owner told me it would be 6 weeks, I was a little uncomfortable. These are spring boots (so I didn’t mind if the guy was going to be busy over the holidays (#ShopLocal, right?). I could wait.

5/30. 6 months to the day. Did I get my boots back? Yes! Did I get the promised refund? No. Did I get a discount? Maybe… while he offered to do another pair at cost… if I put them in today, I doubt I would get them back my Christmas.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE as long as Joshua is there, or you RISK the same way they treated me!

Just left her with the best boot sole job I had in this town. Go get your boots fixed there. Chepar and better than the other places.
