I took a date to the bar at the Summer Shack, the bartender was very informative in explaining the oysters which were great and shucked right next to us. We shared a couple of appetizers, fried clams, tomato and mozzarella salad and tuna special. All was great and so was the ICE COLD harpoon. I have been here before with my family but this was my first time to sit at the bar and I enjoyed it.

"Went here twice - once for dinner with a bunch of friends and second time for lunch with my wife.
Both times food was very good and service was pretty fast. The place is not cheap (but what good seafood is?) but otherwise its great.
Will take Summer Shack over Legal Seafood any day."

The Summer Shack is awesome. T he bartender is great and knows what we want from the minute we sit down... we never have to ask for another beer, he just knows. The beer battered fish and chips is one of the best things on the menu and the French fries are some of the best I've ever had.

They were fantastic great service and with a great smile, Wonderful place for our yearly company dinner.

The seafood is very fresh and it’s great grilled or fried. This is a great local place to take out a guess out of town to get their “fix” from lobster.

The food at Summer Shack is always good and the staff is very friendly, attentive and witty. We started at the bar and stayed in the bar. The bartender was terrific.

My wife and I decided to re-visit Summer Shack, a local seafood restaurant in Dedham this past Monday night. We found the place quiet with only a few diners. We both ordered fish (mussel, flounder). Both dishes were generous and well- prepared. The waitress was friendly and very attentive to our needs. We look forward to going again soon.

Superb service wonderful food and a very splendid experience. The roasted Lobster was amazing.

The food was good. I got the lobster bake, which came with a lobster, clams, mussels, potato, corn on the cob, egg, and a sausage (they call it something else though, it's something from New Orleans). Food all tasted great... my only wish is that they would have not put as much of the seafood seasoning on it, I don't like too much of it. My boyfriend got the fish fry, which he said was decent, and some kind of rum soup, which I tried and had a good flavor to it.

I was presently surprised by my experience at the summer shack. The decor was nicer than I expected and they have solid food at reasonable prices. I'm very glad that this replaced Bugaboo Creek which I was never that impressed with. I'll be coming back with the kids in tow!
