I live in old saybrook but work in deep river. The staff in this particular walgreens are very friendly. They greet and acknowledge you as soon as you walk in the store. They are always willing to lend a hand. One of my favorite places to shop at. Lynn the cashier is super friendly and she always has a smile on her face.

Great service and helpful staff. Always a welcoming environment. Staff is very knowledgeable.i would recommend visiting the beauty section as well.

Wasted over an hour of our time because their computer system was down and they weren’t able to fill an important prescription.

I have been using this Walgreens for about a year and love the drive thru pharmacy. Unfortunately, every time I've stepped foot into the store itself, I've been met with a grumpy staff who spend more time loudly discussing their personal issues with each other throughout the store while completely ignoring customers. The little interaction I have had with staff members (aside from cashiers) has been unpleasant. I went to pick up my xmas cards at the photo desk and was ignored until I made myself known. After a huff and an eye roll, the girl came from behind the wall to "help" only to continue the conversation she was having (that I clearly, in her eyes, rudely interrupted). I seriously hope that in this time of economic cutbacks and job loss, Walgreens Deep River will hire some staffers who show some interest in customer service instead of personal drama. Thanks.

I find that this store seems disorganized. It does not appear or feel orderly. I had to ask where the gift cards were and I was told that they were on the wall behind the cashiers where it was very difficult to see what brands they had available. When I reached the cashier to check out, I had to ask her and she wasn't sure and had to ask someone else. I felt that it was very inconvenient and a waste of time. I was really looking forward to having this store in Deep River, since I work nearby.
