BUYER BEWARE !!! Not sure where the old positive reviews of @Alterations Unlimited by Gina come from but my wife and daughters real experience has been horrendous. How many tailors/seamstresses cut material to hem a dress without pinning or measuring ??? .... just takes out the scissor, cuts material, then tells you how much it will cost and says " I am a professional, I don't need to pin" .... doesn't write down that customer wanted hem "just like original" and creates a sloppy hem-line ... It gets better .... the top needs alteration, "the professional" says to add straps to adjust - TO A STRAPLESS DRESS ! ! Only takes cash ... no register in store... NYS and IRS are you paying attention, are taxes being paid ??... Needless to say the dress has been taken to a professional seamstress who practices true customer service... NOT HERE !

Gina should rename her shop to Alterations and Miracles by Gina & Staff. We had three dress disasters right before my daughters wedding - the bride and two bridesmaids, Gina and her staff worked a miracle! They listened and went to work with pins, scissors and awesome skill. The aura of professionalism with which everyone worked made me feel confident we picked the BEST place ever for alterations!

Gina and her team are absolutely incredible! When I got my wedding dress it was HUGE. I’m the first of my friends to get married and no one I knew could recommend a good seamstress. I went online and found Gina – after reading the reviews I made an appointment, but I still wasn’t convinced. After all – it was my wedding dress we’re talking about! I went to Gina’s shop a few weeks ago for my first appointment and immediately felt comfortable. They knew exactly what they were doing and put my mind at ease. I picked up my dress last Saturday (it was ready a week before they said it would be) and I have to say it is gorgeous and fits me like a glove! Gina’s team took in a good 4 inches on the top (all of which is completely beaded down to my waist) and created a beautiful bustle that allows the entire back of my gown to be seen. I was definitely nervous about finding someone to work on my wedding gown online, but take my word for it – Gina is the real deal and will make you look fabulous!

Gina and her seamstresses are phenomenal! she did an amazing job on my gown. i had her make my floor length gown into a cocktail dress and it is flawless. she even made a shawl out of the extra material! never again will i worry about where to go when i need something altered!

All the ladies here are so sweet, and so accommodating! And they do a fantastic job!!! I went there for a complete wedding dress makeover and the work was flawless! Their prices are reasonable, too! I drove about 40 miles to go there and it was well worth it!!!
