Provided by YP.comI was looking to replace my stock exhaust system on my Truck with a flow master exhaust. I called yesterday morning requesting a quote, I was told the gentleman who handled the exhaust was not there, fine, I understand it's a business, not everyone can be on the phone. So, after waiting several hours, I called back at 5 PM, I was told the gentleman had gone home sick, and I would receive a phone call in the morning, never received the call. Do you guys want business? Or are you content with ignoring potential customers? Anyway, taking my car to American Muffler INC, they gave me a quote right away and answered all my questions on the first call. I will never call, or attempt to do business with Auto Tech Again, first impressions are important, and they failed on every level.

Provided by YP.comI just picked up my car and I now know I'll never to go another shop again.
About 18 months ago I had a timing belt brake, messed up valves, pistons, all that stuff. I took it here to get it all fixed up. Service was great, but hefty price (which I've since confirmed was more than fair for all the damage that was caused). Fast forward a year and a half. Out of nowhere I hear a crazy rattling noise coming from my engine. I stop at a Goodyear because it was closest and they said it sounds like something's broken off in the timing belt compartment. Going to cost $1600 to fix it all, but they recommended I see if it's warrantied first. So I did. I found my original paperwork, saw it was warrantied if the problem was something they actually fixed 18 months ago. So I call Scott and he says to bring it in. They'll figure out what the problem is without charging me. That included them getting into the timing belt compartment to find the problem if need be. So, it ended up being a bolt that was holding the tensioner for the timing belt that broke off. They did have to open it up to figure that out, and they fixed it while they were there. When I went to pick it up, they handed me the key and said no charge, it's taken car of.
This is an older 2002 Santa Fe with 155,000 miles on it. The AC doesn't even work. I had given up on this car when this happened and I decided it wasn't worth spending anything to fix it. I had all but listed it on Craigslist for parts, but thought I'd check with Auto Tech first, just for a second opinion to see if it's something warrantied. And so glad I did.
I doubt that a broken bolt was part of the warranty. I think they fixed it themselves because they might have felt like the bolt must have been overtightened or something a year and a half ago. I really have no idea. But they are the most honest shop I've ever seen. I will never take my cars anywhere else again and only wish I went to them when I did the brakes and tires. They have earned ALL of my business.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Provided by YPmobileJust took my car here for the first time and will not go anywhere else. The owner fit me in for an oil change even though they were completely booked up. Very friendly staff and extremely affordable prices. Also, they are very honest(unlike some of these other shops).
