The Deerfield Beach Public Works Department is comprised of six divisions: administration, facilities maintenance, fleet maintenance, grounds maintenance, solid waste and recycling. The Deerfield Beach Public Works Department strives to maintain and enhance the city of Deerfield Beach, Fla. The city s buildings are maintained by the Deerfield Beach Public Works Department s facilities division. This division also maintains, irrigates and landscapes the medians and public grounds of Deerfield Park. The department s recycling division collects program materials to reduce tipping fees and keep disposal of solid waste to a minimum. Most of everything that is picked up at the curb is either recycled or taken to an incinerator.
