Deerfield Beach Middle School is a coeducational school that offers Middle Years International Baccalaureate Magnet program, which is an accelerated honors program. The school s campus includes a cafeteria; band, chorus and multipurpose rooms; school store; fitness center; and an Olympic-size aquatic complex. It provides various extracurricular activities, such as concert and jazz band, the National Junior Honor Society, a student government, human resources council, newspaper and multimedia clubs and yearbook. The school s media center has a large collection of printed, electronic and online resources. In addition, it offers a range of athletic activities, including soccer, basketball, swimming, softball, track, volleyball, cheerleading and football.
