On a recent trip to Deerfield Beach, I decided on Legends Tavern & Grill on South Military Trail for a late lunch.

Clean establishment with plenty of seating - both at the bar and table top. Kelly was our server and lunch it was. One Michelob at $3.50; one "lunch" chicken sandwich with goat cheese upgrade at $6.99; and one mozzarella stick appetizer at "free" as a social media check-in. Total including tax was $11.12. Tip paid in cash.

No problems or issues with either the food or service. Kelly kept my water glass full and inquired on several occasions whether I wanted another beer. Chicken sandwich was toasted and tasty. Mozzarella sticks? Well, they're mozzarella sticks. Not so hungry after all, I only ate a couple of them. I did not take a "to-go" bag.

Decent experience. I will visit again when I'm in the Deerfield Beach area.
