Alan B. Shepard Middle School offers classes to students in grades six through eight. The school s wide range of curriculum includes language, creative writing, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental and earth science, social and business studies, computer technology, health care, fine and performing arts, music and physical education. The institution s library offers a large collection of fiction, nonfiction, textbooks and magazines. Alan B. Shepard Middle School also provides education to students with disabilities. Its athletic activities include football, tennis, golf, cross-country, volleyball, basketball, and track and field. The school also has a parent-teacher association that assists in various school activities, such as fund-raising programs. In addition, it also provides counseling, health and medical care, transportation and meal services to students.
