My husband and I were there this past Saturday. it was noon. There were 3 tables 2 couples one table was just one person.. We entered and waited to be seated like 5 min. The server Christian was a good server. But there was no rush . Employees were standing and drinking something behind the bar. And laughing. It was very sad to see as this has been one of our favorite restaurants in Defiance.. I have loved the atmosphere in the past. But it was so strange no one even came in during lunch hour for food.. Its really gone down hill and i am really sorry to say that. We considered emailing the owner couldn't get a link to work.

recently moved to old Ponderosa bldg. I ordered "Napoleon special" two flautas had large holes in them filling would not stay in, very greasy, Tamale cold in the middle and dry on the outside and a piece of corn husk was in the masa. rice was bland, had a whole bay leaf that I almost choked on, nachos were wet, not soggy but wet to the point that my fingers or fork could not pick up! Tomatos on top of plate were over ripened or I'll be honest rotten. to make matters worse my son ordered steak and he compared it to jerky and didn't eat, daughter ordered quesadilla and got one tortilla with a slice of cheese inside, nothing else... and a neighboring table ordered fajitas of some sort and they were burning and filled the dining room with smoke to the point that we needed to breath through our napkins until it cleared. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. The service was great though, we tipped well because it was not her fault. Don't waste your time here.
