We are an independent Church of God (Anderson Convention) in NW Ohio, located about midway between Toledo and Ft. Wayne, just south of Defiance between state routes 15 and 66. You'll find us to be a Christian community dedicated to meeting the needs of people right where they are in life. First Church is a place where people can be accepted for who they are, no matter their background, beliefs, mistakes, or doubts. We offer a service each Sunday that is exciting and informal, and a Wednesday evening Family Night (from September through April) that is an exceptional way to draw close as a family and meet new friends. There's no dress code. We use modern music, entertaining drama, inspiring video and laughter. Our messages share God's unchanging truth in practical ways that are relevant to everyday life. Topics are motivating and challenging, as we strive to help people grow in spiritual maturity and in our understanding of God's purpose for our lives. Call us Today!
