On April 14, 2016 I entered into a contract with the Owner of Beads & Such Boutique, to sell some formal/Prom/Pageant dresses for me. Contract stated she would keep 30 percent of the sale of each dress and in return give me 70 percent of the sale price of each dress. Since the beginning it was difficult to collect payment from owner. After much thought and frustration I decided to give her notice that I would be terminating and picking up the dresses. We agreed that on September 10, 2016 I would be picking my dresses. The owner was not present on that day and had left a list that contained 15 dresses that were on layaway. She had left me a hand written, signed, note stating that she would be making final payment for these 15 dresses to me after September 23, 2016 when the dresses would be paid off by her customers. I went over my dress inventory list and I noticed that dresses were missing. I informed employee of this and I left copies of the missing dresses list for the owner to review and contact me. Since then I have made multiple attempts asking for payment of the 15 dresses owner sold for homecoming and for the missing dresses from the inventory list. I've sent emails, messages on FB, had an attorney draft a demand letter which was mailed certified and signed received on October 3rd, 2016. Owner has not responded to my emails, has blocked me on FB, and hasn’t responded to the attorney. As of today November 03, 2016 I have not received payment or a response from the owner.
