This is the absolute WORST place in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to eat ! We had eaten there many times, and the food was usually okay, but today was awful ! My husband's breakfast plate arrived and we both noticed immediately there was MOLD on the toast. We had a waitress take the plate and asked for it to be cooked again - he didn't want any food from the moldy plate. The owner's wife came over to our table and was extremely rude. She informed us that mold was natural and there was nothing wrong with the rest of the food on that plate. She hated to throw away perfectly good food for no reason, but if he insisted, she supposed they could cook it again. My husband got up and walked out. She told me, "you don't have to pay for it." I replied that I wasn't paying for anything and started to exit. She announced to the room, "well, I guess they won't be coming back" with a chuckle. NEVER, have we had such horrible treatment from a "restaurant owner".
