This is by far the WORST experience I've ever had with any mechanic. I have had my car in for a transmission repair and it's been 2 months now. The owner keeps saying he's had "personal problems" and he'd get it done. Nonetheless it is still in the shop without the transmission! I would not recommend this place to anyone! It's beyond disappointing, it's outrageous!

We took our son's car to them right before my husband left town for a lengthy business trip. It took them significantly longer than promised to fix the car. They managed to hold it right up until my husband left town. The mechanic told my son he did him a favor and adjusted it so it ran great. When we dropped it off, It ran fine other than the transmission problem so there was no reason for the mechanic to adjust anything other than what we paid them to fix. What he had actually done was advance the timing to such a degree that the car revved even when idling. The RPMs were going into the red as he accelerated to change gears and at red lights, he had to sit with his foot on the brake. We believe the adjustment was done intentionally to damage the car so we'd have to take it back to them. Instead, we bought a timing light and my son adjusted the timing back to where it was supposed to be. A week later, the transmission went out. We did not take it back to transaction transmission as we don't believe they ever really fixed the car in the first place and they adjusted things we didn't ask them to touch. We tell anyone with transmission problems to take it to Danco Transmission in Crestview instead. We took my husband's truck to him and he could have lied about what was wrong but, instead, did a simple fix and charged a minimal charge and had it back to us the same day. We'll never take another vehicle to Transaction.

This company is horrible the owner I fully believe is a total crook. I had to call in another company 30 days later. They put my transmission in the back of my suv and scratched up the inside of it. Insisted I pay 250.00 fee to them. I had to pay for towing. Me and the other company fully believe this guy was trying to get more money out of me and misdiagnosed the problem. ******* BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY ******* I'm telling the truth and not making anything up. The day the other company picked up my vehicle he offered me a used transmission for 1900.00 dollars plus I would have to pay labor. There was no problem fixing my transmission through the other company. BEWARE!!!
