If you care about your loved ones do not place them in this facility! I have a close friend who works at Pine Acres and some of the things they tell me are downright appalling. The power goes out at least once a week for as long as six hours and instead of trying to fix this issue the management instead focuses on covering up these incidents. They are also currently twenty people understaffed because the employees are treated like dirt by the management and no one wants to work there. So because they are desperate for staff one of the aids they hired recently is a convicted felon, which they didn't seem to have a problem with. Many of the other staff are lazy and will neglect the residents they are supposed to be taking care of. I was told of one scenario where a resident sat in a soiled diaper for a couple hours because the aid responsible for her didn't feel like dealing with it. Yes these incidents are reported by the few good workers employed there but because management doesn't care nothing is done about it. I really wish I was making this all up but sadly I'm not. Other staff of Pine Acres have posted reviews of what really goes on in the facility, but were found out by management and threatened to be fired if they did not remove their review. It is a horrible place and not a facility where you want your loved ones staying.
