Garry Packing began when Ed and Jessie Garry started packing an assortment of fruits and nuts from the kitchen of their home. Today the operation, founded in 1952, is one of the United States largest providers and distributors of dried fruit gift-packs. The company began in the San Joaquin Valley farming community of Del Rey, Calif. Located in one of the most sun-drenched and fertile growing regions of the country, the company packs its goods in corrugated boxes, paper trays, gift boxes, and wooden trays of various shapes and sizes. The company remains family owned and operated by the Garry family.
