prices sky high

I needed a headlight assembly for a 2009 chevy express. First i called to find out if they had it. The answer was "yes we do have it" drove over there and the older guy was looking on the computer trying to search for it and he came up with no results. Personally i think the computers are there for other reasons because apperantly their database doesn't tell squat. So finally one the parts pullers took me over to see if we could find the vehicle to remove it. We did found it but laying down on the dirt. Price : $40 + tax. Online price for both left and right brand new oem $70. I honestly thought it was going to be like 20 bucks since it was laying on the floor and full of dirt and with a broken tab. No more purchasing there even if its the last place in town.

Best place to get ripped off

They sold me a totally different fuel pump for my truck. Then they wanted to do a "transformation" using my own pump, pretty unsafe if you ask me, and to top it off charging a 20% restocking fee for a wrong part they sold me. Like really??? I would take that star back if i could

This was my second visit with my Son. The first was last year which turned out to be a very pleasant experience for him. He found a lot of good deals for his car. However, I cannot say the same for the second visit this past Saturday. After spending nearly 3 hours tearing down parts, he had a handful of parts he want to buy. He did some online research and found all the prices for new, but was hoping to get a great deal for the used parts. Unfortunately, it didn't work out as such. The older gentlemen at the counter tried to charge him the same, if not higher, than what he could buy the new ones for online.... To say the least, bad experience and a lost customer.

I visited Fidel's with the bes...

I visited Fidel's with the best intentions and purchasing a full exhaust for my mustang. I spoke to Juan who seemed really eager to help. I told him what I wanted and he then began to ask for assistance from part pullers. I then sat down and waited eagerly. Well, I waited, I waited, other people got in line and got their parts, went to the back, and checked out while I waited, I waited some more, I waited, Well i continued waiting. Juan answered another employees phone, he went to the back with customers, checked the fedex package and carelessly dropped the package in front of the fed ex driver and made simple conversation regarding his New Years. Then Juan ate some more of his sonic food and drink and answered phones while I waited, and waited and waited. I then viewed one of the parts staff yelling obscenities in spanish regarding one of the clients as they left the office. I continued waiting and then asked another desk clerk if the parts were going to be coming out and he gave me a gasp with a "I'll take care of that for you as though the task had never been initiated." I then responded with that's ok and walked out. I then drove to Austin to Aaron's Auto Parts on South Congress. Angel not only had my parts pulled before I got there but was very polite and professional. I will honestly never return to Fidel's irregardless due to my personal experience. I only wish I could give the business a no star rating.

Stay away. I called,a woman answered and within 5 seconds I was listening to the 'on hold' message.About a minute later a smarmy,young male answered and asked what I needed. I told him and without hesitation he informed me they didn't have the part. I then told him they should remove the part from the internet and this obnoxious punk said "I'll take care of that for you bud". I called back a couple of minutes later and a different person answered. I explained what happened and he said they had 2 of the parts in stock. Fidel, your employees reflect you and I suspect you know who I initially talked to. Fire him today. I gave you one star only because their was not a zero. To be fair,the second person I talked to was sorry but he said he would call me back in a half hour. I'm typing this now an hour and a half later. Times up. You lost my business [and everyone I know too].

Fidel's was a terrible experience! They did not follow through on their side to get my part. I ordered and paided for the part and it was supose to be deliveried but never arrived. When I called Fidel's to follow up on the part they avoided my phone call by taking my name and number and told me they would call back. I gave them over an hour to return my call I ended up calling them four times and it all ended the same with they took my name and number and would call back. They never returned my call I had to continuously call them and finally Frank said I'll call you back tomorrow. I was thinking WTF wish I had the parts to fix my car so I could drive down there and kick f.### a**. I guess Fidel's always comes out ahead if they take your payment without deleivering your parts. BYW if you want to meet an idiot ask for Frank

If you need a used part for newer cars Hway 71 is the place , I got a tail light assembly with no problem , My husband has gotten parts there & my son has too. If you need a part try them first. They saved me money.Thank you Hwy 71.

Stupid AND rude! Bad combination.

I placed an order and paid for it by credit card. * days later I tried to call and get the status, and could never reach my salesperson. Another man gave me a tracking number which turned out to be false. When I finally got hold of my salesperson, he told me the freight company had taken the order to the wrong location. Then he told me the freight company was going to charge him more and said he could just refund me. I told him that I had a customer waiting for (now) 9 days, and he just needed to get the order going. He said he was going to try other freight companies, but the next day he said it was a hassle and he would just refund me. He didn't care that THEIR actions had inconvenienced me and my company. Looking at the other complaints here,, there part was probably junk anyway. I am going too post this complaint on ripoffreport.com, complaintsboard.com, BBB.org, etc. Scum-bags like this need to know that the modern customer has the internet to voice complaints, and we don't have to tolerate such poor service.

Dispicable "customer service", they quote a price over the phone then raise it when you get there. They are rude, insulting, and they stink! When you try to reason with them, they act like they don't know how to speak your language, (whether English or Spanish). These guys should be in the penitentiary 'cause they're crooks!! Send the big green bus over and get rid of these maggots.

Don't buy here if you think you may have to return it.

This place is a joke. I bought some heads for a 3.0 Ford, took them to get checked and found out they were both cracked. I tried to get a refund and of course they don't tell you but it's on the reciept that they don't give refunds, they give you another one, then you can go and spend another $45.00 to them them check if they are bad then you do it all over again. Get this they will give you some money back if you pay restocking fee of 20%. My gues it that they do busniness just to make money from restocking fee, they know those part are already bad, but who is going to keep going back, especally way out of the way in Del Valle.

Do go here, you'll end up making several trips back and by then you could have bought whatever it is brand new.
