My car started running worse and worse and then it began overheating. I went to the garage close to where I live. They looked at it and said the engine needed rebuilding and quoted me over a thousand dollars. That was way out of my budget.



When my dad heard he recommended a garage he has used for 15 years repeatedly. Out of desperation I took his advice and went to ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR of Deland Fl for their diagnosis.



After looking at it, they said it only needed a head gasket for $290. They had it fixed the next day and I was out the door. That was four months ago and it still runs like a champ.



The funny part is, Jud from ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR is not a slick talker that convinces you like some high priced sweet talking salesman out to empty your wallet. He says whats wrong with the car, what it will cost to fix it, how long it takes to fix.



After that he doesn't have much to say. He doesn't seem desperate for more business. Conversation is not his strong suit. But fixing it right and saving me money is his strong suit, and that suited me just fine.
