When I was bike shopping for my sister and me, I visited several bike shops including Deland Cyclery. I rode 3 bikes from there of varying make and age and was very impressed with how responsive each one was. I bought an older Schwinn for my sister and she loves it! If you're shopping for a bike and you're trying to save money in the process, do yourself a favor! Bypass Wal-Mart and get a used rebuilt bike from the Deland Cyclery. Some of the bikes may look their age, but they're put together right and they ride so much better than the newer department store bikes.

Ted has a variety of used bikes and interesting new ones - recumbents, semi-recumbents, etc. He does good work and will work with you to build/assemble any kind of pedal power.
