Great service and reasonably priced place to take your sick animals. The vets are really nice and do a great job.

Although we live within two or 3 miles of three veterinarian establishments, we chose Spring Oaks based on recommendations of several friends. We are glad we did so. Our 13 -year-old cat was promptly diagnosed, quickly scheduled for oral surgery and made a quick recovery. There are 2 vets and a large staff. In 3 visits we were received within several minutes of our arrival. We also learned Dr. Alshouse had been in practice 35 years. This Vet place is as good as they come.

Moving to DeLand from MN was quite a change. We have several animals and wondered if we would find another as skilled and family-like as ours from MN. We tried one vet, but were not satisfied. Our neighbor mentioned Spring Oaks and after one visit we were hooked. The doctors are knowledgeable and friendly and the staff very, very thoughtful and friendly. Spring Oaks is a rare jewel and we are so thankful they became part of our “ family.”

I've been taking my pets here for many years and they are second to none. If you want to know about your pets health the vet's here will have the answers. Thanks Dr. Alshouse and Dr. Jackson.

Great animal hospital! The hospital is beautiful and state of the art with a great staff of experienced vets and assistants, so I was shocked by how reasonable thier prices were. As a matter of fact they seem to be lower than most other local vets for the same services! Highly recommend checking them out!

This office has the worst customer service I have ever seen. They forgot to order my dogs medicine. When I called to check on it no one said sorry or asked when I would run out. I had to call back again and then Lisa checked with the manufacturer and UPS to find out where it was for sure. When I went to pick up this medicine I said they did not bother to fill the other prescription either and I said thanks Lisa for giving a darn about Suzie's medicine. The woman at the desk waiting on me got mad because I said this and gave me the silent treatment. The next time I went back for medicine the office manager acted the same way. No one said how is Suzie or thank you for your $300 check or you are welcome when I said thank you. Suzie could go into seizures and maybe die without this medicine. I have been going to this practice since 2006 and I have spent $4,000 there in the last 7 months. I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone. One of my dog sitting clients needed a vet and I told them not to go to this practice and they did not. My dog is not able to go to another vet and I cannot afford new tests, but I will never go back after she is gone. The behavior of the office staff is childish. I wonder how they would act if I took my dog in for euthanasia and my heart was breaking?

I can't believe it! I found a clinic thats treats me and my pets like family. Every time I walk in the clinic the front office says hello and everyone who approaches pays attention to my dogs. I had an emergency and they got me right in without any problem. I was thankful that they could see me and fixed my girl right up. Then the next day they called to check on her and that just made my day. This is the best place ever and I would recommend Dr. Alshouse and Dr. Jackson to everyone in need of anything. Also they had no problem taking me on a tour.

Having known the veternarian at Spring Oaks since I was an infant, I can guarantee the level of commitment to animal care is the highest in the area. The staff that works there is very professional and thy are also comitted to your pets welfare. I would totally take my pet there again and again!!!!

I have to admit that when I went to Spring Oaks Animal Care Center, I didn't expect what I got. I walked in and was greeted by real professionals and placed into the exam room quickly. The vet assistants showed me how much they cared for me and Sugar by asking about any flea and heartworm medications that i needed. I appreciate that because I tend to forget about those things. Dr. Alshouse listened to me about Sugar and showed compassion for Sugars age and I appreciated that too. She took the exam real slow explaining to me all that she was doing. The vet assistants had everything ready at the end of the appointment and explained all the medications to me. Very thorough. This is a fantastic place to take your animals as I will.

Dr. Alshouse, Dr. Jackson and all of the staff at Spring Oaks are like family to us. We have trusted them with the care of our five dogs and one cat for several years now, and I love knowing that they are there for us for the good times and the harder times. We've used them for routine vaccinations and wellness, surgeries, bumps & bruises, illness and boarding (GREAT VIP boarding). They've seen us through everything.

I would not recommend bringing your animals to this vet. The vet assistants were not very friendly. They kept hounding us and trying to get us to purchase different items, as if they were more interested in the money rather than anything else. As I was there waiting to see the vet (which took FOREVER) I could overhear the assistants gossiping about over customers and even other employees. That made me feel very uncomfortable. They were unprofessional and the whole experience was unpleasant. I will NEVER go back to this place again.
